A Round Table chapter was inaugurated in Sri Lanka on 3 November 2018.

Dr Dayanath Jayasuriya PC, a member of the journal’s International Advisory Board, put together a launch event at the Movenpick Hotel, Colombo, which included a lecture on ‘The History of Cricket in the Commonwealth’ by Mr Chandra Schafter, a prominent former Sri Lankan cricketer and cricket administrator.

The editor of The Round Table: The Commonwealth Journal of International Affairs, Dr Venkat Iyer, was present on the occasion and he introduced the journal and the Round Table organisation to the assembled guests.  The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr Indrajit Coomaraswamy, also spoke on the occasion.

The Round Table now has chapters in Australia, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.
